Another new virus

I received this email this morning from a friend and thought it would be useful to share

If you receive anything suggesting you need to forward to everyone on your contact list, you should just delete it.

Motherger,

When you're working in IT you get these sort of things all the time so it is usual to either discard them OR check them against known hoax databases on line before disseminating. It's a sort of "netiquette" thing - like not shouting "Fire" in a Theatre unless you actually see a fire. Your IT friend is the object of a miniscule amount of ire from Locutus (although in honesty they wouldn't really seem to be properly in IT if they're forwarding this sort of stuff) not you.

Thanks for thinking of us - the thought is appreciated. But now you know what to do next time ;).
