V-Flyer

Being a bit gadget hungry ....during my recent jaunt to NYC I've treated myself to an Archos 504 Portable Media Player (http://www.archos.com) .... what a brill bit of kit !

You can load plenty of DVDs into it as well as transfering anything you have recorded on Sky +, additionally it stores music and photos. The screen quality is perfect for travelling and its small enough to slip in your hand luggage.

Works perfectly with the new Bose 'in ear' earphones !!

Looks great. I would be interested to know what kind of battery life you are getting out of it watching movies in real conditions.

If only it could read camera RAW files then I would have one tomorrow.

I watched 2 movies back to back on it with plenty of life left after... I did buy a spare battery at US$29 which I thought was worth it.

You can store whatever you like on it as when you connect th USB its just seen as a hard drive ..... not sure about viewing RAW files though
