Cheers

The reviews for it seem positive. May I ask does the camera have to be a Nikon? If not you may want to consider the offerings by Canon. I think the Canon EOS 5D is their equivalent to the Nikon D300, it's been on sale for a few years but it's capabilities matches the D300 and you can be assured that it is a 'tried-and-tested' product so to speak.

I know it's a few levels down but I own a Canon EOS 400D and it's superb.

Wouldn't touch the 5D with an oily stick, as that is what they use to fit the sensor. Long line of complaints about dirty sensors on 5D's.

To be honest, all the reviews I have seen would make me ditch Canon and head to the dark side. If it wasn't for the cost of replacing everything, I would consider it.

Why would a Canon sensor be more susceptible to dust than a Nikon?

Having been an early adopter of the 300D and now on a 20D for a few years I have indeed had the pleasure of attempting to clean the damn sensor.

Thank God for the Photoshop 'clone tool' is all I say!
