Anyone else also watching MacRumorslive.com coverage of the WWDC.

Nope as there's no surprise in what is being launched. The Apple UK store is down at the moment too.
Still waiting to hear if the iPhone is going all-networks in the UK as is rumoured.

Well that remains to be seen doesn't it.
I am no apple expert by any means but certainly didn't see anything suggesting a Macbook Pro 13 inch in the run up to the WWDC.

Yeh but be careful.
No discounts for current iPhone users with o2. Something to do with o2 not wanting to absorb the cost.
Considering most iPhone 3G users will need to buy out their contracts, or at least have another year to run, surely its worth holding out for the next iPhone.
Whilst we do get 3.0 OS, apparently the tethering service is not provided as part of the unlimited downloads and as a result o2 will be charging a hefty whack plus a minimum use of the service.
To be fair the one thing I wanted alot for my phone was MMS and we will be getting that so am happy to live another year with my 3G.

I just meant the new software not the new iPhone 3GS.
After seeing what O2 are charging for the new one, they can keep it. Simply not worth the extra money.
I'm sticking with my 3G iPhone and my PAYG Three mobile broadband dongle.
The TomTom app looks good though [:)]

Agree with that, will download the OS update but 3GS is not enough to switch devices at the cost O2 want.
Apparently, O2 are charging #15 a month for tethering ...
