Should be easy huh, except it's on a Fujitsu lifebook, no not the nice notebooks, but one of
theseSo it has no cd drive, that rules out the normal methods of hacking into XP, so tech heads, your thoughts ?

Do you need to boot from your XP CD?
Can the notebook be booted from USB flash? you can create a bootable USB flash drive and copy the contents of your XP cd to it.
Google 'bootable USB with XP' and there will be a load of links showing various ways of doing it.
edit. What is the model number of your P series?

Or:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q= ... ecovery+usOr you could take the HD out and put it in another machine to pull off the data, or to 'reset' the password.

LOL, it's been a rough weekend for me, no sleep and I mean NO sleep in close to 3 days, fixing computers left and right, then this little toy lands in my lap.

Sarcasm? Lack of understanding? [?]
Apologies if it was a 'suck eggs' response, but I couldn't glean your level of knowledge from the post, nor do I know your profession.

I think that was more a 'duh, on myself' than any comment on you Dave. Bless him, sleep deprivation...
