Quickie: How hard would it be for hotel chains to associate client's MAC address' with his or his frequency profile?

Thought is that clients' could just turn on his or her notebook and work, watch certain 'tubes' online without the hassle of typing in guest info.

Thoughts/Comments?

Also, how hard would it be for hotels to give their router the location of the hotel so when I users go to Zipcar.com, etc to book a car, they get the closest car, etc.

I think the privacy/big brother comments would be soon apparant.
