Viber for iPhone

I have installed Viber on my iPhone, after reading about it on another board.

http://www.viber.com/

Does anyone else use it?

I am trying to see if there is any catch to it, but it seems to be legit. It is like Skype, without the need to set up a new account as you use your current phone number.

Am I missing something?

Hi Nick,

I've been using it for a few months, it was useful to contact friends with whilst in USA.

I like the fact that you can view your contacts in the same format as you can on iphone anyway and the layout is very similar.

Plus text messaging - an added bonus!

How DO they make money?! LOL

I have to admit, Luke - I had exactly the same thought. ?|
I suppose that is why I am looking for the catch. :|

So far so good, I've not had any annoying advertisements and used it without issue last month. I suppose it depends how many people in your contacts have viber.

We have it on all of our family's iPhones and it works really well.

We use it a lot to speak to our daughter in the US and the call quality is excellent, much better than Skype.

I also use it all the time to call work colleagues and its so simple to use - and free !!
