This is on my PVR. the week before it was a nuclear submarine and this week as some of the things Quinetic does for the MOD.

An excellent (too short) series from the BBC !

A really interesting programme (and series). The exploding fan blade test was something else - as was the maintenance bit. Someone, somewhere, knows all about YOUR engine.

The exploding fan blade test was good - but I was very disappointed they didn't show it in super slow motion - they almost certainly had footage of it, probably in thousand frames /second - now that would have been good.

you'll probably find RR didn't want the world to see in detail how the engine responded to the exploding blade. Great show though
