Posted: 23 Feb 2006, 22:28Read the paper copy on the train home tonight. Crux of the article was the journey of bits of the plane to Toulouse (?sp) to be assembled, with particular focus on the wings' journey from Wales.
Not working in any engineering discipline (my grandfathers and godfather are probably all spinning in their graves in regret, though of they ever saw my programming and project plans they would actually be grateful) I hadn't appreciated the attention to detail needed - purpose built transport platforms and infrastructure! It is so much easier making electrons move around to do sums with other peoples' money.
