I've been watching VS23 for the 4th March for a few weeks (for selfish reasons) and SUDDENLY J availability has gone from 7 seats taken to 6 seats free. Over the course of 1 day. WTF?

Group booking maybe?

The 7 cancelled on that day? not that as you can book either the 7 or the 23 that day

How do you find out how may seats have been sold? I am a member of expert flyer but I assumed you could only tell once there were less than 7 of each fare class reamining?

Yep there's only 6 seats left in J.

My guess is whatever you were watching wasn't updated regularly and J didn't take 35ish bookings in one day but over a period.

Hmmm, I thought that showed allocated seats not booked seats.

I was looking in SHARES.

It might be something to do with the Oscars now that someones mentioned it!!

Probably a load of journo's or something!

A few years ago I was on VS7 a couple of days before the oscars and the whole of UC was filled with those annoting journalist types.

I flew over to LAX on the Thursday before the Golden Globe awards and had Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rees-Myers sitting opposite me and Eddie Izzard sitting next to me.

VS is the trendy / showbiz airline after all isnt it?
