Just a thought?

Surely it's the poor people down the back of the plane who need the revivals lounge more than anyone else?[?]
Oh, no, I get it! People sleep so soundly in a UCS that they literally need reviving? [:o)]

I see what you mean, but of course the pax down the back could of course pay to use revivals - all they need to do is stump up for a Z.

I thought you could get revivals as long as you have a gold card?
But I'm guessing VS don't do that because revivals would be swamped with EC customers.

Out of interest... How come golds are allowed one guest into the Clubhouse but no guests into Revivals? Is it a smaller lounge?

VS Au's are allowed in regardless of what class they were flying on the VS coded flight.
No guest though for the reason already discussed.
Thanks,

BAA Opened a 'Pay for use' arrivals lounge in Terminal three a few years back, it was opposite revivals as far as I remember. Several Airlines started using it (Cathay, Singapore ETC) for their Premium passengers, but essentially anyone could use it for a charge (£15).
It closed down after 6mths due to lack of business.
It was a classic victim of 'consumer research' being taken as gospel but not working.
"We asked 1000 Economy passengers if hey'd pay for a shower, shirt iron and breakfast on arrival and 90% said YES!"
But in reality, none of them could be bothered!
