Please excuse a rather pointless thread but feel the need to share my excitement.

This friday I'm enjoying my first flight on the upper deck of VS003. Flew PE for the first time back in March and now every flight this year for me is PE. Quite looking forward to walking upstairs and feeling like I'm in a private jet. Allow me my child-like excitement.

Expect similar self endulgent posts when I attain silver (October) and turn left (soon I hope!)

Dean :)

Great news- If you cant afford UC (or dont have anybody to pay for it for you) PE is def the way to travel [8D]

(And physically the upper deck is over the UC cabin so you do get to turn left after all!!! :D)

Totally Agree!! I flew the upper deck of ROC on the way back from JFK in March and found it excellent, it is much quieter and I found the service alot more personal. Now I dont want to fly anywhere else on a 744. There is something about climbing those stairs on a 744...v unique feeling that you dont get with other aeroplanes!

Im Sure you'll have an excellent flight....its worth getting excited over!

Next 744 flight LGW-ANU....hoping for the upper deck.

Enjoy Dean [8D] I was the same my first time on the UD, having flown twice in an exec, it is reminiscent and the service is definitely much better up there, bit like a private members club :D

Now I'm very excited, thanks for sharing in my excitement.

Looking forward to the whole private club experience..

As I said in another post tempted to upgrade to UC on the way back but I think the cost will bring me down to earth :)

Still excited about the upper deck.

Enjoying the complimentries of the ServiceAir lounge, okay so its not quite the Clubhouse, but its quiet and has free Malibu so i'm happy.

Flight boards in hour and half, not sure which plane it is yet.
Who will be the first to add to V-Flyer once they have internet in the sky!
