Just hit my 100th post a couple minutes ago!
This website has come a long way since the beginning. I remember having something like 2,000 posts back when I ran VSFan.org... I guess I still have a way to go here

Great work guys... let's keep building the v-flyer community.

Mike congrats on your milestone - of course a great way to support the site is to
buy a membership kit[:p]:D

Having hit the very same milestone earlier this month, I know how you're feeling, but there does seem to be a hole on your profile where the v-flyer membership thingy should go. (Hint, hint) [}:)]

Mike, Glad to see you've got a membership now, welcome to the gang! [y]
Incidentally, how did you manage to get a "Black" one after only 120 or so posts?

Why hello. Yes it is good to be here as a member. I feel so much more committed to the community.
Pete was kind enough to offer me the membership of my choice for starting and maintaining VSFan.org several years ago. I think I was the first to put up a website devoted to VS. Unfortunately I got too busy to work on it, and Pete stepped up the the plate and put together v-flyer.
Many thank's to Pete for maintaining an excellent community and recognizing my previous work on the subject.

Edited to add:
I really hope I don't offend anyone. Rest assured I will earn the title

So, technically, you could be v-flyer's grand-daddy (Assuming Pete's the daddy) [}:)]

Haha. We'd have to ask Pete about that.
At only 21, I'm not sure the "grand-daddy" title could work. That'd make Pete older than me, but my son...[|:)]
Pete also got a hold of the VSFan.org domain, which links to this website now. I still have some of the cards I used to hand out when I flew, promoting VS.
Used to give them to crew, pax, etc...
There's a lot of people on here that were part of the VSFan.org forum... I rememeber quite a few of you- glad to see we've continued the love for VS [^]

Hi Mike
Great to see you here - I was really sorry when Vsfan stopped being maintained and then disappeared - didn't know the reason then but can understand why.
Regards
Pat

You have a problem with custom titles?
Oh I have no objection to Godfather...
and now you wish to be the godfather [:0]
There can be only one godfather here
Don peteany attempt to replace the godfather will result in a visit from the
consigliere...If that doesn't get your attention then the
soldati. If that still doesn't work then phone calls can be made, people flown in from the
States to deal with you.....
anyone tell im bored today [?]
Welcome to the group...good to have you here...

Hahahahaha!
Dave, That's hilarious.
Might want to start with Chuck though, I live in the States, so it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper than flying the consigliere here to deal with me- although I do believe it would be a good time.
I am however a little dissapointed. You went the extra mile with the photo links, but really should have had this:
http://media.mike-greene.com/Godfather%20Theme.mp3Pat,
Sadly I just got too overwhelmed and VSFan.org became less and less of a priority and faded away. I sometimes regret not keeping it maintained, seeing how far this group has come and how much fun you all have getting together and everything. Who know's, maybe I can bring something useful to v-flyer.

Why is it that 'Godfather' has connotations with being some tough gangster, but being 'Godmother' is all about fairies, pretty frocks and morals?! Hey, I'm no feminist activist but a tough angle on Godmother might be nice.
A miffed Godmother!
