I think that this subject was done to death,
the last time you started this thread. Don't you?

No I dont - but its maybe the truth that is hurting rather than everybody putting their head in the sand and pretending all is ok

Nobody is putting their head in the sand, we all go by our personal experiences.
I just don't see the point in going over the same debate, over and over again, especially as the last post in your other thread was only about six weeks ago.
Fact - some people have good VS flights
Fact - some people have bad, or even very bad VS flights.
Thats life I am afraid.

Nick - I agree that some have good / some have bad flights - but when the reviews now seem to be pointing clearly at the staff I beleive this is now a new issue that had not been discussed as Virgin could be letting the standards slip badly - We all know VS economy is as tight as a pair of nuns knickers and thats not the issue - I was simply pointing out that if you look at all the virgin reviews on that site over the past 4 weeks ( 6 since i brought it up last time) there is one thing that is becoming more consistant - passangers complaining about the staff - that all I am stating and It concerns me

I think that the Trip Reports on here give a pretty good reflection of the current feelings towards VS and its various products - we all have good, bad and indifferent experiences of economy, PE and UC and there is a rating for the various aspects of that service that is always worth a look.
I dont tend to go trawling round other sites for views on Virgin as my experiences in V-flyer have shown that most of what is said in these pages is well balanced and fair - so why go elesewhere. We sometimes refer to BA as "the dark side" but thats tongue in cheek and there are several good TR,s for not only BA but a number of other airlines!!
Certainly dont think anyone either has their head in the sand or up somewhere else!!:D

Porsche,
Actually the staff inconsistencies have been pointed out in a number of VS TRs, going back far longer than six weeks. I know you want to be fair and will thus acknowledge that virtually all carriers have inconsistent flight experiences; whether or not VS is at the moment experiencing greater amounts than others would be difficult to say. I should also mention that according to the posts from VS staff members in your earlier thread on this topic, VS has indeed been working on the Economy product of late, planning improvements.
Have to agree with Nick here, porsche, and hope you understand why we want to have posts with new information rather than new posts that repeat frustrations of pax similar to those contained in older posts. Thanks for seeing both sides of the issue.

If I were able to merge this thread with the other one started by Porsche 911 I would. It adds no new content and as such is simply a continuation. If you want to bump an old thread Porsche just edit one of your own postings in that thread. It will bring it to everybody's attention again without the annoyance of thread clutter.

OK NO PROBLEM - NOT TRYING TO CAUSE ABY PROBLEMS JUST WANT TO GET SOME HONEST COMMENTS ON THE RECURING PROBLEMS THAT SEEM TO BE HAPPENING MORE OFTEN THAN NOT IN TR ON THAT SITE

So as that site is completely unrelated to this site why not ask the questions there? Or try a little deduction...
V-Flyer is known for posting vendor neutral trip reports that happily point out where VS falls down in service delivery whilst equally as happily commenting when things go right. V-Flyer allows fellow travellers to comment and perhaps help to explain perceived discrepancies.
Another site is known for allowing negative comments to be made by people about airlines with no right of reply or follow up by anybody.
I have a gripe to make about VS and I care more about poisoning people's attitudes than I do about helping VS resolve any customer service issues.
Where would I post? Hmmm tough call

As porsche911 had edited his OP to remove his earlier duplicate comments we will lock this thread and refer readers to the earlier posts on this same subject by the OP. Thank you.
