Hi

I've just received the following email from [email protected] which reads :

VIRGIN CASINO
SERIOUS FUN, SERIOUS REWARD

At Virgin casino we celebrate fun, success, thrills, entertainment and excitement. We make sure that you enjoy amazing Virgin prize draws, awesome promotions, and generous loyalty scheme.

To ensure you enjoyment at Virgin Casino we would like to know more about you!! We don’t exactly want to know your shoe size but we’d love to find out a little more about what makes you tick so we can reward you with something we know you like rather than sticking our finger in the air and guessing. This questionnaire shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.

To thank you for your time in filling out this questionnaire, please submit the completed questionnaire by Friday 30th of June 2006 and we will credit your account with £ 1,000 High Flyer points.

Just send us an e-mail at [email protected] after completing the questionnaire with the subject “questionnaire” and your points will be credited in your account within the next 24 hours in weekdays and 72 hours in weekends.

We would like to ensure you that your privacy is important to us at Virgin Casino, hence all your feedback will be kept strictly confidential.

"To fill out the questionnaire please click VIRGIN QUESTIONNAIRE"

Kind regards

Virgin casino team

Sounds like an easy 1,000 miles but I am slightly worried its a phishing email.

Anyone else received one?[?]

Thanks DragonLady

I'm suspicious because its a text only message with no Virgin graphics or personal identifiers. In addition there are a number of spelling / typo errors.

I have forwarded the email to Virgin to check its genuine.

You would think companies would stop sending these type of Emails which encourage you to click on a link and then enter personal details[V] ( If it is genuine of course!)

I must be too suspicious.

They were targetted emails with customer-specific URLs.. perhaps they only went to regular (gambling) customers?!

Unlike those of us that signed up, got the miles, then never spent another $ you mean? ;)

Nope I have contacted them ( I have played regularly) and was told it was "a random sample".

Wow, that can't be right... I'm never part of a random sample ( unless its bad news );)

Oh and the points were credited to my account within 24 hrs:D
