An opening up for the route between Nigeria and the US would I'm sure help VK a lot and, as the article said, be very lucrative for them.
I hear that loads are picking up again now after all that bad publicity about the government ordering that VK cancel one of their flights and give the government the aircraft to transoprt them to Mecca, although this never actually happened in the end for obvious reasons.
