Was just driving home listening to Virgin Radio and in one of their competitions they said that you can win a trip to Chicago and flights are direct with Virgin Atlantic. Has anyone else heard this?

Apparently there is a flight to Chicago next month and it is just a promotional flight. There is also talk on cabincrew.com that Chicago and Toronto are more than just a rumour and that Toronto will be from LGW. Also MEL via DXB.

Be interesting to see what A/C VS would use for YYZ from LGW this time. It was B742's last time. I think they would struggle with LGW B744's as these all seem very busy now and also I dont think the LGW config would work very well anyway for somewhere like YYZ [:?]

good point.
Cannot see more 747's coming from LHR - especially with the delay on the A380's
Maybe a new order to cover this expansion?
