How interesting I've just had the weekly E - Mail from BA with near enough the same offers :D

When I checked Boston for September last night BA were £177 cheaper now the VS price matches the BA price - Interesting.[:0]

Well I hope you're not suggesting there's some collusion going on here, I'm sure that would never happen between any such company! [:w]

Elaine

always difficult to know whether to wait for these summer sales - or book early to be sure of a seat. Still, as I was using miles for a companion ticket, I had to pay much more than the sale price of £700 anyway.

might tempt me for an extra trip though !

cheers

bill

Far more likly to be a long standing hatred and seep seated competition causing each company to watch each other like hawks, and then to match each other's special offers.

So why match them? Even if you beat BA by a pound or two, it could sway people to try Virgin if looking at both?

Feel guilty now for posting that one-day sale to New York the other day and DavidM actually booked it. He could have saved 50 quid with this one instead.

Great Evening Standard offer.[n][n]

Don't lose any sleep over it :D

I actually booked the trip when the offer came up on Flying Club Alert a few hours before you posted and, at £300, it's still pretty cheap. I'll just make sure I get at least £50 worth of food and booze in the CH!

Best wishes

David
