I spoke to a friend who was on a Cathy Pacific flight and he said it was as windy as hell and really bumpy coming into HKG.
For those interested, he said the VS plane involved was Miss Behavin.

Unfortunately AerJohn it looks a mess over there, delays into SYD too due to fog.
Interesting thread on A:Net - almost as it happens, though with the usually ranquor and rudeness. We'd be much nicer

So last nights 201 returned to HKG and the 200 to SYD diverted to BNE!!!!
HKG and SYD are going to have a busy few days!

I saw VS200 heading out over North London just over an hour ago so looks like it left on time.
