I have 2 trips booked in PE on flight 075.

I am really not the best of flyers and soon get worried by talk of tech problems and old planes that keep breaking down and causing sometimes huge delays.

Is there any chance that these planes will be changed before November?

What would you do if you were booked on these flights, would you change to another airline or just hope for the best??

the only chance of G-VSSS and G-VBEE being taken off of the manchaester routes is if virgin happens to acquire 20 747s that a lying about int he middle of no-where.

If I was booked on this flight, I would get on it, the IFE isn't a bad system whe it's working and a virgin is still a virgin, except when it's not.

The planes aren't horrificly old, they're mature...

Still, it could be worse, it could be a BA 742 from the 90's (with 1 big screen in each cabin)

Being a engineer with 18 years service i like to fly on a tryed and tested well oiled machine so long it as been serviced. I dont like new planes, they look great but as time has gone they find cheaper ways of making them. its like when the car makers bring a new model out how many times does it get recalled before they get it right.

Has my granddad would say they dont make them like they used to.;)

I probably complain about these old planes more than anybody else, but I keep on flying on them. Firstly one of the reasons for the delays is that VS wont take off unless the plane is 100%, this is what causes the delays. So stick with your booking safe in the knowledge that VS always puts dafety first.
