Hi,
Are you in Upper Class ( or VS gold card holder) which would give you access to Fast Track ( shorter queues) or in Economy/PE which make you use the standard lines?

I flew out to Delih from LHR on 21st August and passed through LHR T3 at 1900 (Fast track security was around 5mins) but the standard queue was longer ( but it was not stretching out into the main concourse)

Regards

On the 5th of Sept, the fasttrack queue was just beyond the frosted glass. Mind you it didn't help seeing the amount of confiscated toiletries at the screeners. One was giving a passenger a right ear-bashing over all the shampoo he had.

The 400 leaves at a generally busy time -did it in UC about 6 weeks ago and security through fast-track took about 5-10mins - normal was much longer.

VS.

That could be your downfall, but I'd suggest that the queues (despite their EXTEMELY long appearance) regularly clear within 30-40 minutes.

Tuesday afternoon to our flight to Montreal was 6 people in front. Agreed, the non-fast-track was a bit "deeper", but wasn't BAD.
