Reports on a.net are saying that N625VA is now on site in SFO. Does anyone know where it's parked or have any photos?

Can't find anything in SFO yet but
here is an airborne shot of her, fully liveried, at Toulous.

Reid did say that one would be flying to SFO this month for photo ops. I'm guessing they'll place it somewhere fairly obvious so that it can attract the most attention. I wish they would put one in New York too so that I could see it upclose.

Thats a nice looking aircraft... Personally I think the new Virgin font looks nicer on the smaller Airbus than the VS fleet.

She is there for a photo shoot and i have heard that that SRB will be unveiling the plane on the 11th Oct at SFO.

There are 2 aircraft stored at RME Griffiss airpark in NY

Well, I was referring to NYC, upstate's a little far from where I live, thanks though.
According to
this link the aicraft will be unveiled at SFO tomorrow with a couple famous people, including the lead singer of Jefferson Airplane, and will be named "Jefferson Airplane". At the same time VX's website will allow people to go on and suggest names for the other aircraft and free travel tickets. I have a couple suggestions in mind.

Looking at the website yesterday as I knew very little about Virgin America. There appears to be a similar corporate identiy to VS, with the same font etc. That and that they're going to be based out of SFO makes me hope they'll run a SFO - MCO route.
This is shaping up to be a flight we are going to do quite a bit so fingers crossed. Not sure how TED will feel about this though?

Thanks for the link Neil.
No mention of SRB being present, anyone have an update? Or, given the objections raised by some of the US airlines, was it deemed protocol for him to stay away?

Nothing I've read states that he was there. I'm guessing it was the right move. I can guarantee that CO would have jumped upon the visit.

I am sure you are right Nick, rather ironical given the past history - strange bedfellows but at least it was mutually helpful... once!

For many of us in the US, there was very little coverage of this, except in the Bay area, due to one unfortunate event: a major-league baseball player died when a small plane crashed into an apartment building in New York. Every national news program covered that in minute detail, just as the events at SFO kicked off.
It didn't even make the major papers, save one minor mention in USA Today.
However, if SRB had attended, you better believe there would have been coverage, all of it pretty negative - from American and Continental. I would have been surprised if he had attended, since it would have been a major marketing error, IMHO.
To all US v-flyers: have you named a plane yet? Let's see if one of us can get one of the magic 8!

Sorry the link takes me to a page that says:
I saw a planes in their livery parked at Sfo on Saturday just after landing on my flight from Atl. It was parked near a hanger away from the terminal in a location used by AA and UA. I visited there website and it tells me precious little. They want us to love them. But they have a plane. I've seen it.
No Step
Am I right to be mystified what the post means or am I showing my age?

I did submit the name V-Flyer. Whether it will be noticed, I don't know. Of course since we technically are BritFlyer now, I guess that was a waste.

Well..... Just been past today and there were two of them!!!! Nice to see that they've kept the virgin tail....
Wasn't quick enough with the mobile though. Neither was actually tethered to the airport. They just seemed to be sat there, all alone
