Hi,
I changed my hotel on Manage my booking, which was a bit stupid of me as I had heard that this causes changes to the price.
It has removed my 10% flying club discount and the Internal flights, I have tryed calling Virgin Holidays and I am finding it hard to talk to someone who understands, they say that you can't book the Internal flights yet however I was given a price for them when I booked which was included in my orginal quote.
Any advice on how to deal with this as I understand its a common problem?
Next time I will make changes on the phone!
Regards
Claire.

just ring on a weekday office hours or someone might give you the english callcentre number from here, then they will reapply your discount. Your internal flights are unlikely to have been cancelled.

Hi, Thank you for your reply, I phoned them back and spoke to someone a lot better who added the discount and Flight back on. The first person I spoke to said I had to fax my two Invoice while this lady just looked them both up her self.
I also took the opportunity to book my excursions and Disney tickets which she also gave me the 10% discount on.
Some of the staff are very good while others make me wish I had booked though a travel agent so I don't have to deal with them my self.

Just to add something to this - don't know if you can change it now - but booking your internal flights with VH is a very expensive way to do it - they wanted £92 each for a flight BOS-JFK, but I have just booked direct with AA for £64 for both of us.
I also priced up some internals between SFO-LAS when we were planning that hol and again VH were way overpriced, even with the 10% FC discount.
Just thought I would mention it incase you could save yorself a bit of money.
Also, as discussed a few tiems on here before, the VH call centre staff can be very hit and miss, so you are not alone with that thought either.

Hi, I did think the flights were expensive, £200 each from LAX to JFK, though I guess if we remove them we will get charged admin fees.
Will try to remember for next time though.

Still might be worth it Claire, depending on the extent of the admin charge. You can but ask

The cost for making the change would be £25pp, plus any costs that VH could incur in making the change, although I am sure they last but would be nothing - probably not worth it on this occasion but def worth remembering for the future.

Claire - AA website is showing LAX-JFK for £144.10 for Sept 2007.
Was the £200 quoted by VH after the 10% discount??? If it was then I would be booking direct with AA myself. [:?]
