Hi, I've just booked my first ever UCS trip to New York. What can i expect? what do you get in the lounge at Heathrow?
Any advise/tips would be much appreciated.

Hi Rob
Welcome to the site. YOu can really look forward to your experience for this trip and can find a lot more information about what to expect by searching through and reading the many trip reports for this journey and many other UCS journeys in the 'Trip Reports' forum on this website.
There is also quite a lot of information about the services on offer on the Virgin Atlantic website.

You can expect to enjoy the whole flight experience much more than if you were stuck at the back of the plane.. where it's just a painful 6 hours..
Get to the airport early, so you can enjoy the Clubhouse for an hour or two (or longer if you want). So see what's on offer at the Clubhouse, search this forum, or look at Virgin's website..

This thread should give you a bit of info as to what you can expect in the Clubhouse and
this page on the VS website gives you the "official" line of what you can expect from the UCS and CH.
I would also suggest reading through a few of the many great UCS TR's which will give you a VF's first hand experience of flying UC.

Sorry just had a thought - the only thing that you do have to pay for is wireless internet access if you have your own lap-top (although use of the lap-tops & PC's already there in the lounge is free and they all have internet access on them.)

So therefore do I take it you went into the jacuzzi without anything on? [:0] That really is very cheeky.
