Would have loved to have joined in, but Mrs Buns will be getting a "sun fix" [8D][8D] in florida at the time.

Distinct possibility - again, depends what day we're talking about. Satdi or Sunday would be best for me (midweek is a bit dodgy)

Is there a bar?

Cheers

Right how's the saturday (the 24th July 2004) for everyone?
There DO seem to be group rates if we get to 20! so as soon as I get firm numbers I can look at booking so far these people have expressed interest:
me;)
HighFlyer
Nottingham Nick
mcuth
Come on the rest of you! theres planes and stuff!

hmm that group discount (5%) is looking a bit optermistic!!
for those that haven't looked ticket prices are £20 for admission and optionly £9 for grandstand seats

I'll be in SFO, and I wouldn't go anyway, the best airshow in the world is on at the same weekend

I think it should be open for partners too (even though I'll be alone

), should be a good day out for all the family

Are we all still on for this next Saturday? Any other folks wanting to join in are more than welcome - get your names on this thread

I see the advance tickets are now only available from the gate and some dodgy newsagent in Hampshire

! Need to start thinking about times to get there and meeting places etc...

Come on folks - must be more than just us wants to go look at planes all day (ummm, ok, that makes it sound a bit sad

). Ideas on the best way to get there? Opens at 0930hrs, so best times for arrival? Is there a local cafe we could meet for brekkie?
Cheers

Pencil me in - I went last time round and it was fantastic!
I'm on call for a while now and depending on how things go with our systems during the week, I may need to be around Sheffield at the weekend so won't be able to confirm until nearer the time.

Good stuff Sahajesh. I can quite understand the on-call stuff - luckily I don't have to do that anymore
