Friend of mine will be travelling from LA to LHR in a couple of weeks. According to the site, it looks as though the route uses either a 747-400 or an A340-300, but her info is that she'll be flying on an A346 (she booked via a travel agent). Her concern is that her seats, 56A & C, will have a 56B between them.
I've had a look, and can't see that the A346 is using this route - am I wrong? I couldn't find the seat conf for this type of plane either - would it be case of no B seat, as if often the case?
Confused..... you betcha....[:0]

Hi Cat,
Your friend has been informed correctly that her flight will be operated by an A346. Both LAX flights are operated by this aircraft type on the winter timetable. During the summer VS7/8 are operated by a B744 and VS23/24 are operated by an A346.
The Y seating is in a 2-4-2 config on the A346. 56B and 56J don't exist so your friends don't have to worry about the chance of a stranger sat between them.

That's wonderful - thanks very much, I'll pass the good news on to her! [y]
