I heard a rumour that Gareth Gates is currently in training with Virgin to be a new member of cc - is that true or do you think it's all made-up?

I think he would be quite good!

The rumour is on Popbitch. They obviously have good sources for other salacious and scandalous gossip, but can't I don't know if this gem is true or not.

Last I heard a few weeks ago was that he was working on an album on an independent logo or something or other.

Does he know that the new changes for crew roster won't allow enough time to do karaoke on the layover?

I've heard this one! hehehe. Isn't he one with the really serious stammer that only goes away when he sings? What would he do?... Sing the emergency procedures down the PA?!

The only place I've heard this is on Popbitch no where else through the company. A similar rumour started about one of the blokes from the old boyband Five and nothing ever came of that as far as I know.

As for the stutter, you can't discriminate. I'm not going to say too much but such a thing hasn't stopped people being recruited before.

I've got a collegue with a bad speech impediment who also has a great sense of humour - he tells me the only song he'll ever attempt on the Karaoke is "Blue Moon"!

I find this an incredible statement,as we are constantly being told the crew job is safety safety safety,how can someone who cannot communicate particularly in emergency situations be up to the mark,this isn't being discriminatory just realist.
