Anyone been through LHR outbound since the 6th? What are the queues like for departures security?

On the VS01 this Saturday so want to leave enough time for delays.

Keeps smiling :D

I left on Sunday 5th, lines were the longest I had ever seen (even worse than Aug 13th). It went all the way to the end of the terminal. However, ALL the scanners and belts were open and it took 45 mins to go through. This was befofre the new liquids rules etc.

I remember when people thought security lines in the USA were long.

Slightly off the original topic but still related, how much of a difference are people finding the use of Fast Track and LHR? Any estimates on the "success rate" compared to the regular queue?

Everytime I've used it, it has been very busy, but not as busy as the other lines, so on a whole for me it is OK, not great, but certainly better than the economy line, but this is just my humble opinion! [:I]
