Just got one of these pop up NPDOR surveys when I visited the VS site and got asked the following question:
quote:
How likely would you be to participate in an online chat room/forum where you could share tips and stories with other frequent flyers?

;);)

I did one too.
But apparently it is not only Virgin that has that survey. I went to different airline websites and that same survey popup but obviously the survey related to that certain airline but still asking just about the same questions.

I have been to the VS website several times recently and not had the survey[:(]
Do any of the techies know if it could be because I have pop up blocking software fitted?

It hasn't come up for me either and I don't think I've got a pop up block.

I completed the bmi version. Very lengthy and a bit daft as it asks lots of questions about the 'new look' bmi website before you've even been into it... One thing I did learn though, you can skip pages if you get too bored!

I get these NPDOR pops up's about 3 times a year on VS, BMI and BA's web site.
If you have WinXP service pack 2 installed (not released yet but there are beta and RC versions about) this now includes a pop-up blocker built into Internet Explorer which you can choose which sites to allow pop-ups, however, you need pop-ups active for the VS web site in order to view your seat maps/numbers when viewing a booking.

ISTR that the last time I did this, I ended up being emailed by NPDOR quite often to do more surveys - I think you actually sign up to their consumer panel as part of the survey. Anyway, I got out of that because I don't think their "sweepstakes" apply to UK residents
