Last year I received miles on my birthday as it was VA 21st birthday too.

I was surprised when I returned home yesterday to received another 2K free miles for my birthday, is that the norm?

Indeed, for the second year running all Flying Club UK Au card holders should receive miles on the birthday. 2000 this year.

Although I did have to chase mine last year. My birthday is in Jan, finally got the miles in mid-Feb [:w]

I also got a card from VS that had a claim code in it for 2000 miles. Thank you VS.

Me too, and a nice touch it was too ... hope you all get your's (well the Au's anyway) [8D]

I'd actually forgotten it was my birthday as I stumbled downstairs to put the coffee on last week. I opened the most interesting of the letters on the mat to find a card from Virgin, and the code to pick up a couple of thousand miles. Nice touch!

If my wife receives card with the free miles on her birthday, I only hope she does not think it is an April Fool joke, as her birthday is April 1st, but I will not say anymore about that. [ii]

Birthday miles are only for Gold FC Members, IIRC.

Not my year then - I never got miles or a card this year from VS. Oh well, the selection of aviation cards from friends and family sure made it up, some of them were aabaolsute class (Dean Morris strikes again...) [:p]

I know Au members got the 2100 miles in honour of the 21st Birthday of VAA, and some form of this was passed through into this year, but not sure what the criteria was then! [?]

Yes I know, I have just dropped to Ag hence no miles this year.

I'm a US-member (AU) and have been for the past three years (previously, many years as a UK member). Never had miles on the birthday. *sigh*

OK got my Birthday card from VS yesterday (only 8 days late), went on-line and entered the code to claim my 2000 miles but all that's on my FC account now is:

11 Jan 2007 Virgin Atlantic Birthday Bonus Registration. 0 0

ie 0 miles? Are the 2000 miles added automatically? Last year I had to get VS to do it manually so not sure how the process works.

Got back from SFO today to find a card with 2K waiting... Thanks VS..

Would be nice to know exactly what the criterea is though if anyone knows.

Doubt it as it is for Gold members. Happy birthday anyway

Have the same problem entered all the details and still showing 0 miles for Birthday redemption on my FC account after 2 weeks. Seems very odd.

It's my birthday on the 29th Jan. Not only will I be older I won't get any extra miles by the look of things!!
