Nice one Blythy :)

I'm flying off to SFO next Friday, and I'm quite liking the look of these two:
SCOOBY DOO 2: MONSTERS UNLEASHED
WALKING TALL

Though that said, I'm hoping to have V:Port, so I'll end up playing Trivia (or Blackjack to prepare for LAS :D) and then watching select comedy classics [8D]

Cheers

Michael

I'm off to SFO in three weeks, not liking the look of the movies at all.

now, when they say select comedy classics, please tell me it's not all only fools and horses and fawlty towers, while they are great, they get tedious after seeing them 500000 times

If you are over the age of 12 and/or have an IQ in triple figures, think again... I saw it on BA this month - ZZZZZzzzzz (I like light entertainment, but.... it was pretty bad :( - all the best bits are in the trailer).

Haven't heard of "Walking Tall".

Have a good trip though. :)

I wouldn't worry - that's what this site's all about :)

Jonathan - they're not exactly free though are they? I mean $1 tip each time soon adds up (plus what you lose at the table!) :D:D

Boo - thanks, I'll definitely take that advice on board then (excuse the pun) ;)

Cheers

When at the table I dont think so much about winning or loosing;)

Think the fun is in the playing:D
That way when you loose its easier to sweeten!
also that $1 isnt for your drink its for that waitresses sweet smile!

Advice though is too take only cash on the floor with you that way you'll not be tempted to use plastic for extra $$$
I usually lock all my cards etc in the room safe to avoid tempation! that way I only have the money I expect to loose with me and can happily enjoy the experience!

Besides most CC's dont give points on cash advances;)

Very sensible Jonathan, we always do the same. In fact we usually set a budget for what we are prepared to loose when we visit Vegas and take it in dollars making sure we keep it separate from the "normal" spending money, then win or loose we know where we stand, as you say, you can play till your hearts content knowing you are within budget ;)

In March we had some good wins but it all went back and we just stayed within our budget, very enjoyable few days :D

Yeah, I usually set aside an amount for gambling with, and imagine it's already lost as soon as I walk into a casino (any casino, home or abroad) - that way, anything I walk out with is a bonus, not that that happens often! :D

Gotta say though, last time I was in LAS (New Year 2001), I walked away $30 up after all the costs of 3 days there (hotels, flights, meals etc...) - so it was quite a good win overall [^]

BTW, ISTR reading somewhere that if the casino takes Amex, then Amex will give MR points on casino purchases - but, the disclaimer is that I can't remember where or when I read it (there, there's that memory thing kicking in again :D)

Cheers

I found it - see the table in clause 20.1 here [8D]
