Just read that EK are to offer IFE that is compatable with i-pod. The new seats will be able to power/charge your i-pod & allow those with video i-pod to view on the IFE screen. I believe United & Continental are also adopting this system.

As VS use the same base IFE system (Panasonic), i wonder if they are planning the same???

Denzil, I think what V-Ben meant (and said ) was that VS have chargers available not that the system employed elsewhere was the same as VS limited offering? Or have I misunderstood your reply?

I understood that & my reponse was more to point out that it's not simple (or cheap)to add this option.

Okay, then I misunderstood your response sorry, let's hope VS do decide to provide the functionality in the not too distant future.
