Apparently VS27 on Tuesday departed late arriving 9pm local due to engine problem.

So problems with G availabilty on MCO and more and more MCO flights being delayed.

The MCO service is a shambles lately. I never thought i'd book a charter flight again, but i'm seriously considering it. The cost of VS flights is rising, yet they seem to get worse each trip we take. With the new PE not starting to be fitted until 2008 now, I think they're going to lose customers in droves to the likes of Thomson's, First Choice, Monarch who are raising the stakes. We fly PE 3 or 4 trips a year to MCO and I won't hesitate to go elsewhere soon.

I stumbled across this page reward flight availabilty - think you have to be logged in to view.

Doesn't really help the situation but gives some idea of availability for all reward flights in the near future.

We've now got 203,000 (I thought we only had 130,000, nice suprise) miles to spend, yet I cannot get flights with dep and rtn dates that are not under a month long (LAS) x 2 PE. Can anyone tell me how it works if I book 2 PE tickets and wish to use miles to upgrade to UC?

If you are buying PE flights, they need to be booked in S or W class to be able to use miles to upgrade to Upper. If you are using miles for the PE flights, you can use another 20k miles to upgrade from PE to Upper if there is availability.

LAS is a VERY busy/popular route in all classes. If there are no Upper reward seats now there may be some on the day at the airport or a few days before, it certainly does not hurt to ask! :)

Thanks,
Sarah
