Hello, I hope you can help me. Do you have any idea what the different colour codes mean on the above sites? For instance, I did a search for seats on VA for 11th October this year. It is showing (on VS75) 7 pale green squares under B,D,J,L,M,S,Y&Z. Then there are 3 red squares under N,Q & X. I cannot see any indication of what these colours are. Can you explain please. If it is inapropriate to ask this question on your site, can you please remove it for me.

Katie :)

I certainly don't think it is an inappropriate question :D, but it isn't a site I am familiar with.

I assume that the letters at the top of the screen are the classes of ticket and that the 9 is in green to show loads of availability, the 7 in yellow to show limited availability and the 0 in red to show no availability.

See here for an explanation of what all of the letters mean.

It seems a very strange way to lay it out, and I stand to be corrected in my assumptions. [}:)]

Edit - I have just checked my Miami flight for next Saturday, then compared it to Expertflyer. The figures for availability are just about identical - which is good news (only 3 economy tickets left, PE is sold out and there is loads of room up the front - including 4 Z fares [?] .) [8D]

Hope this helps.
Nick

Sounds good to me Nick, and good luck for the op-up next Saturday.

{Edit - Seems like they may be querying the same reservation system?}
