VA to lease planes to other airlines.

According to airwise.com, Virgin America are going to lease some A320s to other airlines in an attempt to raise short term revenue.

looking at the VA cabin, this could raise some interesting problems with FF's, they take a flight in the very nice VA cabin, then on the next one they are back in the crap regular one.

Pity they won't be leased to a US carrier as a "taster" for pax in order to win their custom;)

I agree 45 it is such a shame they are being leased out expecially as they are going to potential rival Skybus!!
The DOT announced last week sometime that the deadline for vetoing VX's new submission to the DOT has been extended by 30 days and then this week VX announced that the a/c are being leased out....reading between the lines are we about to see a big fat no from the DOT again?!?!
Whilst nearly everyone on here is of the view that VX should be in the sky- some of the arguements coming out on a.net et al are just unbelivable.
