Does anyone happen to know whether the mileage quoted on the FC helpline for Eurostar travel is one-way or return?

Eurostar rewards are available as return only, I called to enquire about this last year.

In my opinion using miles for Eurostar tickets is rather wasteful. I recall that a Standard return to Paris is 18K - cheapest return fares starts from just £59 if you book well in advance.

Incidentally, Eurostar is doing a promotion from this Saturday, in association with The Daily and Sunday Telegraph newspapers. Collect four tokens and get two return tickets to Paris or Brussels from £90.
