On returning from MIA last week, the customer services agent mentioned that Virgin would be resuming flights to Toronto from Gatwick sometime later this year.

Has anyone heard mention of any dates for this service to resume.

I heard when the winter schedule comes in....but then again that could be the Virgin rumour mill working over time!!

Crew have been talking about Toronto for a while now, this little rumour keeps on popping up quite regulary.

I think VS have committed their aircraft elsewhere for the best part of the next 12 months. I cannot see how any further frequencies can be squeezed out of an already pushed fleet without any new additions.

YYZ would definitely been cool though....:D

Especially if it comes in with the winter schedules as Lipstick suggests [:w]

Toronto in the Winter....isn't it like something out of The Day After Tomorrow?

I've only been in a pleasant September. Would be nice for VS to fly back there, but please let from LHR.

Absolutely freezeing in the winter Dean[:0] (all the more reason to spend time in those nice shopping malls they've built that are underground).

I can't see how it would fit in the schedule either with no more deliveries for now and other routes planned as well.
