If you have just found that you can no longer post on the V-Flyer forums, it probably is because the next phase of our new membership model has now been implemented.

Please see this thread for full details.

Details of how to join V-Flyer can be found here.

We look forward to welcoming new members to the V-Flyer Clubhouse which is our members only forum. Should you not wish to join, then please feel free to continue browsing the forums and the rest of the site.

Anyone else who is unable to post, please send and email outlining the problem to

The decision to move to the new scheme was taken over a period of approximately 12 months, looking for ways to continuing to keep V-Flyer 'On-Air' by defraying the increasing costs of hosting it, and in consultation with existing members. Over the years, V-Flyer has outgrown many different hosting plans and 2 ISPs, and now uses up so much bandwidth that it is classed as its own "ISP". Unfortunately that level of connection to the Internet comes at a price, and the previous membership model - which offered only marginal benefits over non-membership - simply wasn't covering the growing costs of the site.

We are, of course, continually reviewing this, and the moderating team plan to meet mid-May to assess the impact of the new membership scheme and whether it requires changes or tweaks. We welcome any feedback from members and non-members alike as to how the new scheme could be improved.

Please post any comments you have for the attention of the moderating team, [email protected]. We would love to have your opinion - both good and bad.
