Cabin crew query

As an occasional holiday flyer with Virgin, I find nearly all the trip reports make fascinating reading - I've learned a huge amount which will make my forthcoming (1st UC)flight in June more enjoyable ( I hope).

However, I would be interested if someone could clarify the functions of the various cabin crew. I understand that the FSM is in overall charge, but what is the organisation of the others? And how many cabin crew would say a full Heathrow 744 carry?

Apologies if this has been answered before, just point me in the direction of the correct thread.

Mike

Hmmm can't claim to be an expert so will post something for others to clarify.

FSM - Flight Services Manager
Cabin Services Supervisor x 2 - one dedicated to UC the other split between PE and Y.
Senior Cabin Crew x ? GUESSING 3, 2 for UC 1 for PE but don't really know
Flight Assistants x ? Guessing 8 for Y
In Flight Beauty Therapist x 1

GREAT query :)

Look in your V-Book Decker, it is listed there as the staff numbers vary by route and aircraft.

Thanks,

13 Crew on the A340-300
15 Crew on the A340-600
16 Crew on the LGW/MAN B747-400
18 Crew on the LHR B747-400

This could have changed by now but this was what I was taught during training; you will find flights will less crew than there should be and all LHR flights have IFBT appart from the unlikely exception.
