VS website shows that one tier point is earned for economy flights under 2,000 miles.

Does this apply to internal flights, in discounted economy?

I need a single tier poin tto hit gold and this could be a good way to get it.

Yes, it should apply to any published fare for any partner carrier (including discounted economy).

If you want to check specifics, a call to FlyingClub may be the only option I'm afraid (once you've got the specific fare class from your ANA ticket).

Ok well I got an ANA Super seat (business) for only 10% more than economy, and was told that all business tickets earn 2TPs...
