Hi everybody

Need a little bit of techno help please.

Trying to email customer relations regarding the request for confirmation of a delayed flight so I can put in a delayed claim with my travel insurance.

Getting the message below

Subject: 2nd Request insurance claim

was not delivered to:

[email protected]

because:

Error delivering to Customer Relations UK/VAA/LON/EA/VTG; Cannot store document; database has too many unique field names. Please ask your administrator to compact the database.[:0]

Is the fault at VS or my ISP Tiscali ?

Thanks in anticipation

Paul

It's the fault of the Lotus Notes/Domino system they use there. I've seen it before, it seems to get resolved over time... [:?]

Thanks for the quick response

Any ideas how to get round it?

Just spent 20 minutes listening to the music to be told to drop the UK bit out of the addy but it STILL bounced back

It also doesn't help matters when you send your initial email to [email protected] (as per the VS web site here) but you get the auto-response back from [email protected]. Although it does also state not to reply to this message.

I always use the [email protected] email address.

You could try the fax number. It's on the VS Customer Relations page I posted in my last message.

I already did that but they didn't respond to that just got the fax transmission confirmation of delivery.

That was the reason to email them [:(!]

Not very impressed with customer relations !!!!!

Sorry to revive such an old thread. I just tried to e-mail customer relations and am having the same problem. Does anybody know if this is a frequent problem that they tend to sort out in a few hours? I'd rather deal with my complaints over e-mail - quick, and easy paper trail.

Seems absurd this problem can exist over a year and a half later! Oh well, it's become gripe number 10 in my e-mail!

Thanks,

Ben
