Hi, I have spoken to flying club and been told that we can not check in on line due to the number of flights we have booked, I was told we should check in for our flight 3 hours before. However are connecting flight from Manchester to LHR arrives exactly 3 hours before our VA flight leaves, All our flights are booked with Virgin Holidays, do we have at each airport, in Manchester and again in London or do we check in for our LHR flight when we check in at Manchester?

I am a bit worried that our Manchester flight will be delayed as my experence with domistic flights has not been good.

Which carrier are you booked with from Manchester? If it is with BA then in all probability you will but I can't answer for British Midland. In the past they checked you through but whether that is still the case, one of the Manchester based people should be able to tell you. If your flights are on the same ticket then your bags can be checked through even if you can't and that should help. All you need to do then is follow the signs for the Flight Connection Centre (although I prefer to walk over to T3)

Three hours should be enough time. The minumum connecting time is about 2 hours or thereabouts.
