Using Points to Upgrade to PE - Help!
Posted: 03 Mar 2008, 14:55I have 26000 points and want to fly from Manchester to Orlando early February 2009. On the VA website if I use Miles+Money(2000 miles) for an Economy seat it brings the price down by about 70. My main questions is, is it possible to use Miles+Money and then use 20000 miles to get a free upgrade to Premium? What's the best(cheapest) way to do this, I've never used miles before??
Any help would be much appreciated. Also,should I buy the seats as soon as they come out or wait until later on in the year? I'm quite flexible with the dates.
