Can you still use online check in if you haven't received your flight tickets in the post and have to collect at the Airport - MAN in our case?
An awful lot of people are reporting very late tickets from Virgin, someone I work with was told by VH that there is a huge backlog and some tickets are just not getting sent out in time. People are being told they cannot use twilight at LGW.

As long as you have you booking reference that allows you to view your flights on the VS system then you will be able to use OLCI.

Yes. As mentioned above you can still check-in on-line if you have your flight reference code.
I had the same problem last month. Just make sure you pick up the tickets from the VH desk on the day.

Hi there - this is my first post so please be gentle!!!
I wondered how long others have had to wait for tickets to actually arrive once they are showing as 'sent' in 'manage my booking' area of the VH website?
My tickets have been sent today (4th April) for a travel date of 17th April (LHR-JFK).
Could really do without the stress of late arriving tickets, hotel vouchers etc.
Looking forward to all those informative replies.....
Many thanks
Jane

They shouldn't take very long. Last time I booked VH, from been shown as 'sent' on the website to getting them was 3 or 4 days I think.
VH paper tickets will be a thing of the past very soon as all airlines/agents are supposed to be using e-tickets by the end of May 2008.

Hi James
Thanks for putting my mind at rest!
The sooner they use e-tickets the better - was surprised that they are still issuing paper tickets.
Kind regards

Reading the Dibb, this whole late tickets from VH saga is causing a lot of people a lot of, apparently unnecessary, stress.
If people have never been to Florida before, and have children to sort out, the last thing they want to be doing is wondering if they will have extra hassle at the airport picking up tickets and car hire / hotel vouchers etc.
The vast majority of VH customers book their packages months in advance. What possible reason could there be for this apparent 'backlog'? [n][V]

Despite my concerns, I received the aforementioned tickets and vouchers in the post this morning.
V-impressed as only took 24 hours to arrive.

Our V Holidays tickets were sent on 10th March for our trip to Egypt on the 20th and they arrived on the 13th which was completely unlike the numerous invoices they sent us which by looking at the dates of the invoices took 2-3 weeks to arrive. One thing to note was that the invoices were sent via UKMail and the tickets by Royal Mail. Not sure that it should make that much of a difference?
