MAN-MCO Questions!!!

Hello everyone,
New to this!!!
I have a couple of questions regards MAN-MCO on Virgins 747's.
1. Do Premium Ecconomy passengers get the use of a lounge (If there is one) at Manchester prior to the flight?
2. On this website I have noticed that people have had problems with online check in. I have my e tickets for a flight out in February and have got confirmation of my seats up in the bubble rows 77,78 & 79 ( I think) My question is do I have to do anything to guarantee these seats nearer the time, is there some chance of someone coming in and 'stealing' these off of me?
Many thanks.
Also a quick question about memebership. I just made an account here and went thru the process on PayPal of entering my payment details, the website broke down and asked me to re-enter it all again, however when I go thru it all again on this website it wants me to make a new profile and will not let me go any further. Please if anyone knows how to get round this please let me know. Hope this makes sense and many thanks.

Welcome aboard V-flyer. [y]
Hopefully one of the Mods will pop along later to have a look at the payment side of things.
As for the questions.
1. There is no lounge access for PE pax at Manchester. There is a shared lounge for Upper Class and FC Gold. You can buy access to the
Escape Lounge.
2. There is always a chance that the seats you have my be reallocated prior to departure due to operational needs. please remember that they are only requests. Best advice is to either check-in on-line or arrive early in case you have been moved. At least you might be able to get a pick of the held back seats.

I would like to add that the Escape Lounge is well worth booking. We usually have breakfast there - fresh fruit & yoghurts and chill out before the flight. Food in the rest of T2 is pretty dire so the £20 charge is well worth it.

Many thanks everyone for the nice welcome!!!
Yes looking forward to getting the membership end sorted out.
Does anyone know if Virgin are going to upgrade the Gatwick/Manchester 747's with new seating and entertainment or has it all stopped??
The lounge at Manchester, I assume that it is in the same terminal as the one I will depart from to Florida??

At some point yes, when is anyone's guess, until the economy starts improving again and oil prices drop who knows.
BTW, I didn't check, but if you happen to be from Hull, please excuse the anti Hullhumor on here, no harm is meant by it...also if you are from Hull, you have had your shots right [?]

Welcome, Tim. The Escape Lounge at MAN T2 is after you go through security. If you hang a left and go past Burger King, the lounge entrance (stairway) is on your left. And yes, it is definitely worth the money to get away from the madhouse of the main terminal. [:D]

Tim - as others have said, welcome to V-Flyer. With regards to the Escape Lounge [again, as others have said], yes, it's airside in T2, where you will depart from to Florida.
Sure, the Escape Lounge is no Clubhouse, but it's a haven of tranquility when compared to the main departure lounge, so it's well worth booking it (you can do it via the MAN airport website).
In the Escape Lounge you get clean chairs to sit on (no trodden in chewing-gum etc) as well as complimentary light refreshments + drinks. At the time the Orlando flights depart, you'll get a free continental type breakfast (croissants, pastries etc) + tea / coffee / soft drinks + a good selection of alcoholic drinks, should you want something a little stronger at that time of the day.
Many people on here have knocked / slated the Escape Lounge at MAN - but it's not that bad really. Sure, I have yet to experience it when it's full of Chavs [from Hull?] and have also yet to experience the LHR Clubhouse - but I can see that coming in March, as a trip to Hong Kong is in order for the Rugby Sevens.

On the subject of membership, as you already have registered a username, then you need to go via the 'Membership Status' link at the top of the forum pages to add a PayPal subscription to it. Going via the Register page only works for completely new members.
Welcome aboard, BTW [;)]
