Hi there,
Have 2 questions for anybody.

Firstly, when can I book Oct 09 flights to USA on Virgin Atlantic

Secondly, what is the likely hood of using my 45,000 miles to get a free flight to the US? Does it depend on what time of the year you go etc?

Thank you [:D]

October 09 flights will be on sale in November 08. It's always +11months.

Virgin Holidays will sell for October 2009, based on the current timetable, but that's probably no use for using miles.

It depends on where you want to go in the USA. I presume when you are talking about 45,000 miles you are talking about the east coast? As Sealink says, booking opens 11 months from the date of travel, but remember that booking for the return leg also doesn't open until 11 months from the day of travel. In other words,if you are going for two weeks, booking for the return opens 2 weeks after that for the outbound.

When booking opens you should try and see if there is reward availability on the date you wish to travel but bear in mind that reward fares aren't always loaded until a few days or more afterwards.

Finally, remember it isn't exactly a free flight. You also have to pay T&Cs
