OLCI help!

YET more assistance needed...

I've managed to check myself in for my flight.
I selected that there was another person who needed to be checked in, but it said 'please check-in as normal at the airport' and there was still a button that said CONTINUE.

So I pressed that, and have checked me in and I printed my boarding pass. The system did say that my Special Assistance request is noted, which I think is for the nervous flyer in the party.

But I can't check in the nervous flyer online. Would this be normal? We'll be at the airport at the crack of sparrows anyway, but just hope I haven't done something really daft...

Personally, if you have requested help from Special Assistance, I would leave seat allocations etc. to them - that is what they do, and they do it very well in my limited experience.

Too many cooks.... and all that. However, YVMV [:D]

I didn't touch the seat allocation, this was just the checking in only. So I am checked in, but Pax 2 is not. [:I]

Oh, and what does YVMV mean? [:?] [/newbie]

Ah. Thanks. I agree - I am not touching our allocations at all.
Virgin have emailed me some vouchers including one for a free back massage at Origins. Anyone use these? It doesn't look like it's a buy one get one free. What's the catch? ;)

Well, I am checked in. Passenger 2 is not. We can do that tomorrow morning. Called Virgin who said that would be best.

Checked in. Virgin staff could not have been more helpful. Everyone in Terminal 3 is so friendly (esp. Chez Gerard!) But VS staff stand out.
