We were delayed 9 hours on Monday out of MCO and me and hubbie are each going to be awarded 100000 miles for the delay, as we were flying back upper class but since our 2 kids have not got a reward card etc they get nothing is there anything I can do to get their delayed points for them, also I would love to do a trip report for outbound and inbound journey can anyone tell me can I do this and the easy way to do it, even if I have to join this site, but the questions they ask you to join is way over my head or I'm I just thick!!!! sorry and thanks

Hello - sounds like a horrid delay but 100k miles each is a fantastic offer from VS - that's two UC trips to the US. Normally for a cancelled flight 50k miles is offered and I wonder whether you were given 100k as a further compensation for your kids?

As to the questions to join - are they that odd?

As for joining, remember the only compulsory ones have a red asterisk against them. All the rest are optional.

Like Slinky says 100k is a lot of miles for a delayed flight. When we had a 24hr delay, UC pax were offered 50k each, so either they have already compensated you for your kids, or you have been very lucky and I wouldn't complain too much.

As you are already a member, you just need to upgrade your account. At the top of the page there is a 'membership status' button, in there you can choose which level of membership you require, click on it and just make payment through paypal, nice and simple!

With regards to problems registering, we have not encountered this before. Could you let us know the specific things that are causing difficulty, please? Either post them here, or in an email to registration at V-Flyer dot com.

I cant wait to be delayed with VS, the most i got for being delayed out of MCO on United was absolutely nothing for 9 hours and then had to find a hotel in dulles washington at 4am courtesy of my own bank account. Most annoyed
