Just wondered has anyone paid the extra $15 for the Premium Seats on a VX flight? Do you think it was worth it?

Also, are the Exit Row seats better than the Row 3 seats? Seems to be an extra 2' of legroom for the same price, which sounds good to me?

Yes, I did think it was worth it as the fares themselves were low enough in any case. The legroom seemed to go on forever to the extent that I had to unfasten my seat belt to reach the shelf unit at the base of the seat in front which was there instead of a seat pocket. I also had to reach out to touch the IFE screens so there was oodles of room. I only went down the back on one flight and I honestly can't say I noticed the exit rows which suggests to me that they don't have the same amount of legroom as the premium seats.

I really appreciated it after coming off VS19. I would have found it difficult to cram into an ordinary seat after being spread out in UC - especially as that flight to LAS was very busy.

Now off you go and dig out those TRs [V]

The exit rows are classed/sold as Premium Seats and it says 6' of legroom rather than 4' [:?]

I went for premium seats (exit row), flying LAX-SFO, depite struggling with justifying paying extra for such a short flight. What a good idea it turned out to be as the plane sat on a remote part of the runway at LAX for 1.5 hours before take off, blamed on 'weather' at SFO. Money well spent! Besides, the entertainment laid on by the CC and ability to watch live tv and episodes of The Simpsons while still on the ground more than made up for the delay.

Or you could hold out to the day of the flight and see if there are any unsold First seats on your flight. If so, you could snag them for $50 (you can do this online too).

We also sat in these when we went to LAS after Bay to Breakers. Well worth $15 [y]
