V-Flyer

I am making my first UC flight from Manchester to Orlando in November and i was wondering if anyone knows what the UC menu is.

Best thing to do is have a look at the recent Trip reports on that route or other east coast routes using the V-Flyer trip report index.

Also if you do a site search using the term 'menu' it brings up several recent threads, including this very long one, discussing recent the recent UC menu changes.

Hi as Nick as already said, the current menu is in the long thread, but I have copyed and pasted it below

Starters

- seasonal leaf salad with fennel, beetroot, flaked salmon & a herb dressing
- soup of the day

Main courses

- chicken breast stuffed with spinach & feta, braised lentils and buttered leeks
- steak and mushroom pie with potatoes and sauteed savoy cabbage
- yorkshire pudding with brocoli & stilton, sun dried tomatoes and parmesan

Desserts
- dessert of the day (any 2 of the following)
- chocolate & toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce
- treacle tart with creme anglaise
- pear, apple, cinnamon & sultana crumble with custard
- rhubarb mousse

Afternoon tea
- sandwich selection, scones and cakes


Flew that route last week and menu was as above - soup was very nice and so was the steak and mushroom pie along with the cheese and biscuits.

Can't comment on the desserts as never had one. (must post a trip report shortly)

Will get the return menu at the end of the week.
